You may want to sell the Marbella villa or apartment you’re thinking
of buying in a couple of years time, so you must give lots of
thought to the home’s potential resale value and consider
the following:
Decide whether you want a newly constructed Marbella
villa or apartment, an older home, or a home that is in need of
work or “modernisation”.
Villas in Marbella with three or more bedrooms and two or
more bathrooms, have more appeal and appreciation potential than
those with less. The standard apartment in Marbella has two bedrooms,
and two bathrooms. Anything with less will be more difficult to
re-sell.
Well-maintained, attractive Marbella villas or apartments are the easiest to resell.
In line with this, well-maintained complexes
are the most desirable, but check that the maintenance fees (local
rates) are within your means.
As a general rule, don’t buy the most expensive
house on the street. From an investment standpoint, it’s better
to buy a moderately sized villa or apartment in a great area, rather
than the largest, most expensive villa in an average area.
