Description
The 19th century house has been rehabilitated by Dirk Reiner Blomeyer, born in Rheinberg, North Rhine-Westphalia, is a qualified architect and professor of project development and project management at the Beuth University of Applied Sciences in Berlin in the department of architecture. In addition, he teaches project development in a special Masters course in International Project Management (Berlin) which is taught in conjunction with Northumbria University in Newcastle, UK.
For the renovation, original materials from Malaga have been used, such as the cobblestones or the clay of the bathrooms and the original terrace of the roofs of Velez Malaga.
The fountain takes advantage of the coolness of the water and communicates with a wind tower that is on the terrace (original Iranian system) and thus lowers the interior temperature by several degrees.
The whole house is air-conditioned with splits for hot and cold, has gas radiators and two pellet fireplaces in the dining room and living room.
